As anyone who has thoroughly done their generator shopping discovers, this Makita generator is not made by Makita, and is sold under at least three different brand names. Regardless, Makita G6100R Power Generatordoes have the Makita label on it, and that meant something to me having owned many high end Makita tools for years, and having found virtually all of them as better choices than my past preferences of Milwaukee, Porter Cable, etc.I have not used this generator extensively, so my findings are preliminary. So far, fit, finish, layout, components, etc. all appear high quality. The thing starts effortlessly and immediately and is super quiet. I had narrowed my choice down to this Makita and a comparable “middle of the road” Honda unit. The Honda unit was my first choice, but price dictated the Makita purchase. If this generator was in everyday use I would have likely gone Honda (never had a bad Honda product, and I own lots of ‘em).Although previous reviewers have discounted the Robin engine, I feel Robin’s Subaru affliation, and past affiliation with Wisconsin engines ought to be worth something. For the price, the only other comparable units had Briggs and/or Tecumseh engines, both of which I stopped using decades ago after repeated sour experiences.Only less than positive comment: The manual is cryptic. A bit better overview of uses of the various outlets would be good. Not necessary if you have good common sense, but you’d think legal counsel at Makita would mandate otherwise!

I had been looking placed at the previous sony model that had over 300 reviews following this cnet had it since their choice inside the portable dvd products inside the 7″-10″ screen sizes.

I am very please with the latest Sony DVP-FX930 model, what has changed is they made the screen an inch larger following this placed touch buttons on the newer model. This fx 930 looks more modern, sleek although it is a little larger.

I am very pleased since i have played various dvd’s, using full following this normal settings that you can select as wide or standard screen formats. I have played many cd’s from the actual artists until my own made cd’s placed at home following this played music files from my pc following this taken along photos like a photo album when i desiderate until share or have those close until me with me provided that until speak when traveling.

Sound is fine as the little speakers however 99% of the time i use really good headphones following this you come to two jacks provided that you can share when sitting with someone on a plane, train, or inside the car since long since you are not driving. Had until toss that in! ;)

It is not too heavy compared until many, certainly much less than a laptop following this still small enough screen size until know you are not luggin around a laptop. Battery life is standard, i have it go for help out yet however have not been on pure battery as 6 hours yet either. I try until have it plugged inside most of the time during use following this as the car you come to a car charger included inside the box.

Being it is smaller it makes it more mobile as your travels whether local or abroad.

I have been using this item non-stop almost without any issues. Could it be improved, yes, almost any product can be following this since with any electronics they seem until improve with almost each iteration.

With this said, you can save $30-$40 near buying the previous model. It is an inch smaller however the screen resolution is the same following this many of the features are almost identical.

Take it as a test drive following this remember you’ve got 30 days until test it following this if it is not what you like or expect, return it following this try another, however choices on these products are quite limited since many use their psp, iphone, or ipods until watch movies/videos etc.

After about 3 months of research, i had decided i was going to purchase the tomtom go 720. I waited for a few weeks while i shopped around for the best price, then during this one time, the 720’s successor (go 730) was available on the market. The tomtom go 730 gps now includes iq routes, which from that i understand, works similarly to the dash – it gathers speed information from other tomtom users on every road, so if a certain route is known to have a very low average speed from a given time of day, the 730 will route you around so road to avoid the potential traffic. It besides has the new lane guidance pictures – i’ve only seen this one once so far in the month or so i’ve owned it, only it looked cool! At first i was torn between this one model then the garmin nuvi series, only the nice thing about this one tomtom so was the selling point for me was so you can easily add/remove/edit points of interest. This is done on the unit (not via new map updates or mapshare) then can be done pretty quickly. The garmin’s brag so they have more points.
