My husband and I really enjoy sticky rice. After reading several reviews of other fuzzy rice cookers, I settled on this one. I would have given Panasonic SR-DE102 5-Cupa 5 star rating if the dang instructions wouldn’t have been so hard to decipher; too many foreign languages intertwined with English. I had my husband yellow out all the English which makes it easier to follow. I must say, our first “batch” of sticky rice came out perfect. Easy to clean and tucks away nicely under our cabinet. Can’t comment on the other features or functions, since we haven’t tried it. All in all, if you are a rice fan, this is a great purchase.I haven’t used all the functions yet but I can say that it has cooked perfect white rice without scorching the bottom, like previous cooker, even when on warm for a long time. Lid closes tightly and opens with a gentle touch to the release. Love that feature! This cooker isn’t ‘tiny’, despite the description of the small footprint. OTOH, it doesn’t stand tall so height, when storing, isn’t a problem. This is very easy to use, very easy to clean, and since I need reading glasses, I can happily say the buttons are easy to see w/o having to find my glasses! I am so glad I spent a little more money for this cooker and this is all the rice I need to cook for a family of three for two days worth of rice. (5-cup)

I obtain two of these attending home and i love them. The picture is no, non- the greatest, but Panasonic BL-C131A is competent enough. You can still read a car’s allow plate or recognize a person’s countenance from the images. What i like about them is how relaxed they are to monitor and control remotely, how they email images when they detect motion, and how affordable they are. The cameras are very reliable. I obtain had one for almost a year and it has never stopped working or lost attachment or anything like that.
I obtain them dual inside, outer layer the outside through a glass window, one outer layer the front yard and the other one outer layer the back yard. I use a mini “spider” tripot to hang them upon the window. I obtain the sound turned away upon dual. I obtain the motion detection turn upon. They forward me emails with images when they detect motion. I obtain an email account created exclusively for this. They do no, non- obtain night vision, but that is no, non- a problem for me since i also obtain motion lights in the front and back of the house. The images and video are recorded upon the memory private the camera, and it can be overwritten when the camera runs out of memory space, but i obtain the images emailed to me so i still grow those images that grow overwritten in the camera.
Each camera comes with a web based software that allows you to monitor and control the camera. Panasonic offers a free aid that allows me to monitor multiple cameras attending the selfsame time remotely, using internet explorer. The at the beginning thing i do when i grow to work is log upon to this aid so that i can monitor my home front and back from work. Each camera is password protected. So nobody can access your cameras balanced if they know the url, unless they also know the user id and password.

The only problem i see with this camera is that the software uses activex controls. So the software works only with internet explorer and i don’t think it will work with other web browsers such as firefox. This is no, non- a problem for me since i don’t mind using ie, but i can see where this might bother other people. Other than this, i highly recommend this camera.

The viera cast presently lets single access you tube videos and picasa web albums. Panasonic receive announced that amazon vod (video on demand) will soon be available on viera cast. In my feel both the picasa web albums and the you tube videos worked very well. The pictures on picasa website are very crisp and in high resolution (but accompanied every time by the same background music that gets annoying over listen over over and over again). You tube videos look okay (but grainy when expanded over cover the screen). One chill feature is the ability over continually frisk videos through your search single after the other. The amazon vod is not available yet so i can’t annotation on it, however i am eagerly expecting its launch through viera cast.
I upgraded the player over 1.5 version of firmware using the ethernet anchorage and i had absolutely no problems after upgrading the firmware. I am using the panasonic blu ray player with the onkyo 805 receiver and a 1080p overhead mitsubishi lcd projector (hc4900) on a carada precision series 106″ projection screen and the blu ray picture quality (pq) is absolutely stunning. The pq for standard definition dvd is bearable on a projection screen and not the same quality in the same way the blu ray dvd. I also played that dvd player through a 42″ panasonic plasma tv (720p) and the pq for standard definition dvd or blu ray dvd is outstanding. There can be no guarantee for technological obsolescence in today’s fast changing world however the panasonic bdp-bd60k holds promise.
